About our name
Suki was our very first Chinook. She came to us in 1998 when a dear friend of our family (her previous owner)
died of a brain tumor. Suki's previous home was an idyllic rural retreat along the banks of the Sudbury River
in Massachusetts. While we lived, and still live, nowhere near a river, we chose our kennel name as a tribute
to our friend. She not only gave us the great gift of Suki, but changed our lives by introducing us to the world of
Chinooks. Nothing has ever been the same since.
